Thursday Events At Midway Rained-Out-Friday Championship Night With Twin Features

Lebanon, Mo. - The Thursday night edition of Hot Summer nights fell to Mother Nature as Rain forced cancelation of the features.

Friday night will see double features to be ran in the B-Mods, Street Stocks and Factory Stocks. Only the drivers that qualified Thursday night will be eligible to run the 1st feature.

Fans that were present Thursday night can bring their rain-stub Friday night and recieve $5 off the Admission price to the Friday night events.

Friday night will feature double features along with racing in thr Pure Stocks, MidWest Modz and Sportsman class.

New drivers Friday will be eligible to only run the second feature in the B-Mods, Factory Stocks and Street Stock classes and must cover the car entry fee.

Friday night admission will be $15 for Adults in the Grandstands while pitpasses are $25.

Thursday night Ben Solberg was the quick qualifier in the Factory Stocks, but the feature will see Sundance Keepper the leader of the 1st Factory Stock feature with 1 lap completed. Brian Webster was quickest in the modifieds and will be the pole setter for the 1st Modified qualifying event while Micheal Stake was second quick and will lead the field in the 2nd modified qualifier. Joe Francis was quickest in the Street Stocks and will lead the field in the 1st feature with rodney Yost on the outside.

Nascar Camping World Truck driver Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon is currently 5th in the point standings for the Hot Summer nights series.

Gates open at 5pm with hotlaps at 7:05 and Racing at 8PM.


Midway And Show-Me Series Fall To Rain

Lebanon, Mo. - A fast moving hard thunder storm moving through the area forced cancellation Friday night of the racing action at the Lebanon Midway Speedway as the strom hung over the track.

Up next Friday night July 23rd will be the regular racing action along with kids bike races for kids 10 and under for both boys and girls at intermission.

Featured classes include Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Sportsman and MidWest Mods.

The special 3 day swing event of Hot Summer Nights is coming up on Wed July 28th, Thursday July 29th and Friday July 30th featuring Factory Stocks, B-Mods and Street Stocks. Wed Night will feature Time Trials and the first ever double elimination bracket racing for those 3 classes. Thursday Night will have Time Trials and Qualifying features while Friday night will have qualifying heat races and a feature event to determine the overall champion in those 3 classes.

The Factory Stock high point driver will take home $2,000 with the second high point driver grabs 1,000 for the events while the B-Mod winner takes home $1500 and the Street Stock winner takes home $1,000.

Early entry Fees are being accepted until Friday Night July 23rd and that allows to to choose where you qualify at in your class instead of drawing on race night.

Entry Fees are $50 for both FactoryStocks and B-Mods while the StreetStocks is only $25.

Pitpasses each night will be $25.

Grandstand prices for Wed night are only $5 for adults while Thursday Night is $10. Friday's grandstand prices are to be determined.


Midway And Show-Me Series Fall To Rain

Lebanon, Mo. - The much awaited Larry Phillips birthday Showdown featuring the Show-Me Late Models at the Lebanon Midway Speedway fell to rain Friday night July 9th. With heavy rain on Wed and Thursday Night, the Speedway was forced to cancel the event due to the pit area being extremely to muddy.

Racing action in the Central Bank Championship Chase will resume Next Friday night July 16th with a regular points event featuring the Eneregy Company Modifieds, Central Bank Factory Stocks, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Sportsman and MidWest Modz with racing to start at 8PM.

July 23rd will feature kids bike races at intermission for kids 10 and under.

The 3 night Hot Summer nights events will be July 28th, 29th and 30th with action featuring Factory Stocks, B-Mods and Street Stocks all 3 night. Support classes will be added on Friday Night July 30th as the overall points winner in the Factory Stocks will take home $2,000 while the B-Mod winner grabs $1500 and the Street Stock winner takes $1,000.


Midway Speedway To Accept Pre-Registrations For July Hot Summer Nights Event

Lebanon, Mo. - Less than 24 hours after announcing the July Hot Summer Nights Event for Factory Stocks,B-Mods and Street Stocks with over $20,000 in purse money up for grabs, many calls have come in to the Speedway concerning this 1st time event.

"I can't believe the great response so far on this event." quoted owner Jack Jones. "Since we are doing an extreme type of event we have decided that we will take early registrations. The registration will help line-up the time trials for Wed and Thursday only. They will be accepted in which the order we recieve them for each class. The Speedway will accept them starting Friday May 28th either by Mail or at the racetrack and will end on July 23rd. It will need to have your Entry Fee for the class($50 for Factory Stocks and B-Mods and $25 for Street Stocks) along with the drivers name, class, car number and hometown and a contact number. No e-mail accepted. The mailing address to send them will be Jack Jones 21446 Highway B.Lebanon, Missouri 65536.

"By waiting a week this allows the drivers a little time to budget for this event. The first Factory entry will be our first qualifier on Wed and Thursday in their class. Same for the B-Modifieds and Street Stocks. This also gives our weekly racers a chance to register when they come to the track on Friday nights. Drivers who don't pre-register will draw for their qualifying spot behind the registered drivers. It does not include the Friday program as everyone will draw for heat races that night as they check in.

Hot Summer nights will feature a 3 day event with Wed Night 1 lap of qualifying and a king of the track double elimination one on one challange races with points being awarded to everyone in qualifying and the tournament. Thursday night will feature 1 lap of qualifying and double qualifying features for all 3 classes. Time trials will help set the features as odd qualifiers will compete and even qualifiers compete against each other. Friday night drivers will draw for heat races to attempt to qualify for the feature along with any needed last chance races with points also being awarded.

The top point cars in each class will be declared the winner with $2,000 going to the Factory Stock winner, $1500 to the B-Mods and $1,000 to the Street Stock winner.

Pitpasses will be $25 per night and if a driver competes in more than 1 class, they will have to cover the other class pit cost also.

Wed Night grandstand prices will be only $5 for Adults, Thursday $10 and Friday Night $15.

Lebanon, Missouri offers many different things close to town and is only 11 miles from Bennett Springs State Park.

The Speedway is 6 miles on East Highway 32 and 1/4 mile of B highway. It is a non-drinking facility in the grandstands and offers a family atmosphere with seating for close to 3,000 in the Grandstands with excellent track lights and a good view for the spectators.


Lebanon Midway Anounces July Special - Hot Summer Nights

Lebanon, Mo. - The officials at the action track of the Ozarks the Lebanon Midway Speedway have released a special event to be held on Wed July 28, Thursday July 29 and Friday July 30th called Hot Summer nights.

The event will feature a purse in excess of $20,000 involving Factory Stocks, B-Mods and Street Stocks(Southwest Missouri Bombers).

This event will feature 3 nights of racing and a format different than most. Wed night July 28th those 3 classes will time-in (only getting 1 lap) with the fastest qualifier recieving 25 points with a 1 point drop per each spot. This will set-up the first ever double elimination tournament. This will be a one on one event with a 3 lap match race with drivers competing until you lose twice. The tie-breaker will go back to time trials. Win the tournament and recieve 30 points with a 1 point drop every spot back.

Thursday night the cars will time-in again recieving only 1 lap of qualifying as this will set up the twin features for each class. Odd qualifiers will compete in one feature and even qualifiers in the other feature. Fast qualifier recieves 25 points and again a 1 point drop per spot. Winning your qualifying feature gets those drivers 50 points and again a 1 point drop per spot.

Friday night drivers will draw for heats races to qualify for the main event feature. Heat races pay 5 points with a 1 point drop while winning the feature will pay 100 points with a 2 point drop per spot.

The high point driver in the Factory Stocks will take home $2000 with the payoff as follows 2)1000 3)750 4)400 5)300 6)260 7)220 8-15)200 16-20)100. Drivers outside the top 20 recieve 50.

B-Mod payout is as follows 1)1500 2)1000 3)750 4)400 5)300 6)260 7)200 8-15)200 16-20) 100 Outside the top 20 $50.

Street Stocks are as follows 1)1000 2)750 3)400 4)300 5)200 6)175 7)150 8-20)100 with 50 outside the top 20.

There will be a 1 time car entry fee in the Factory Stocks and B-Mods of $50 while the Street Stocks Entry is $25. Pitpasses will be 25 each night.

Grandstand Prices will be $5 on Wed Night, Thursday night $10 and $15 on Friday Night. Friday night will also feature some support classes.
