September 24th:
-Our Inaugural Season for the Go-Karts and 4-Wheelers was a great success! We are already looking forward to the 2008 karting season. Remember, beginning in 2008, we will run on Friday nights with the stock car shows switching to Saturday nights!
-The Midway Speedway Banquet will be held on Friday night, November 2, 2007 at the Heritage Baptist Gym in Lebanon. More details to come.

September 15th:
-The money
race is set and ready to go for tonight, September 15, for the following classes: Rookie Flats,
Rookie Outlaw Restricted and Unrestricted, Adult Medium Flats and Adult Heavy
Flats along with 4-wheelers and 500 CC Outlaw Karts.
The same rules and pricing remain in effect with racing to begin at our NEW TIME
CHANGES: Racing @ 6:00pm with
the pit gates opening at 4:00pm and Grandstands @ 5pm.
This will be a track points race, also with our final karting events on Saturday,
September 22nd.
-The Karts Parts people, Jared's Karts & Parts, will indeed be on hand tonight at the Midway. If you need to reach them you can call at 417-209-8465 or email them at ashfamily@hughes.net. They have told me they are planning on bringing the shop with them today!

September 7:
-Yes, Lebanon has gotten a ton of rain. Yes, we have cancelled our stock car program for tonight. However, we are still on for tomorrow's first Mini-Midway Money show with the karts and 4-wheelers. Stay tuned to this site for any updates regarding tomorrow's show. I will also make a post on swmoracing.com in the karts section regarding tomorrow.

August 29th:
-Next race will be the points and Money race at Midway on September 8th.
Classes include Rookie Flats (What a point battle!), Rookie Outlaw-Restricted,
Rookie Outlaw-open (8 karts to make the scheduled payout), Adult Medium and
500 CC Winged Outlaws (10 karts to make the scheduled payout). 4-wheelers
included in money events paying 3 spots.
Entry fees are $25 per class and pit passes are $10 per person. Starting time
at 7:00pm.
-September 15th-This was not scheduled from the meetings, but will be used as
a rainout date-All classes and 4-wheelers.
-September 22nd-Final points race for karts and 4-wheelers.
Reminder-in the karts it takes at least 2 in a class to make that happen.

-We are looking for some interest in possibly put together an stock heavy flat kart class. A few kart racers raced up here a while back and ran with adult medium class but they were so much lighter than them. We would love to run this class so if there is any interest at all please email me. We would like to see this grow. Our next kart show is Saturday, August 25. -Added to the show on July 14th are the 500CC Winged Karts! We anticipate a bunch of Winged Karts this Saturday night as we will be the only one running them on this evening. Come watch these bad boys fly around the "Mini-Midway!"

-We are going to continue with evening shows as the Midway will open its gates on Saturday night, July 14th for Go-Kart and 4-Wheeler racing! The gates will open at 4pm, grandstands will open at 5pm with racing ready to start at 6pm sharp. See you all here!
