The rules are intended to ensure that sanctioned events are conducted in a manner that is fair as possible for all competitors and consistent with the prompt finality in competition results. On occasion, circumstances will be presented that are either unforeseen or are otherwise extordinary, in which strict application of the rules may not achieve this goal. In such rare circumstances, officials, as a practical matter, may make a determination regarding the conduct of the race, the eligibility of a competitor, or similar matters that is not contemplated by or is inconsistent with the rules, in order to achieve this goal.

THE GENERAL RULE SECTION APPLIES TO EACH AND EVERY RACER, MECHANIC, CREW AND /OR PIT PERSONNEL. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO KNOW THE RULES. IGNORANCE OF THE RULES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS AN EXCUSE.
THESE RULES SHALL GOVERN ALL RACE EVENTS AT MIDWAY SPEEDWAY. SPEEDWAY OFFICIALS SHALL DECIDE RULES AND REGULATIONS, IF NOT COVETED HEREIN. SPEEDWAY OFFICIALS WILL CONDUCT ALL RULE ENFORCEMENTS.
TRACK MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO UPDATE, MODIFY, ADD OR DELETE RULES AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION. ALL DECISIONS MADE BY SPEEDWAY OFFICIALS WILL BE FINAL.
THE SPEEDWAY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO OR LOSS OF YOUR EQUIPMENT, VEHICLE, TOW VEHICLE, OR ANY PARTS BY THE MEANS WHATSOEVER.
